Skills & Technique Classes
Pole 1
No experience needed! This is the perfect place to start for everyone. Learn how to create momentum around the pole, as well as proper grips and engagement. Please wear shorts for class and avoid lotions 12 hours prior. Class will be barefoot.
Pole 2
Pole 1 or equivalent pole experience needed for this level. Work on sits, climbs, kneehooks and become more comfortable with spins. Please wear shorts for class and avoid lotions 12 hours prior.
Pole 3
Pole 2 or equivalent pole experience needed for this level. Work on single arm spins, different leg holds and getting upside down without inverting. Wear shorts and avoid lotion 12 hours prior.
Pole 4
Pole 3 or equivalent needed for this level. Learn aerial inverts, inverted shapes, and shoulder mounts.
Pole 5
Pole 4 or equivalent needed for this level. Learn aerial shoulder mounts, hand springs, and advanced aerial shapes. Must be comfortable with aerial inverts and shoulder mounts.
Floor Technique & Tricks Lvl 2
Should be comfortable with basic shoulder rolls and familiar with shoulder stand position with feet on floor.
Floor Technique & Tricks Lvl 1
In this class you will learn fundamental floorwork tricks, balances and transtions, while you work on gaining strength on the floor. Heels optional, this class is open to all levels.
Heels Technique & Tricks Lvl 1
PREREQUISITES: Pole 2 required before attending.
Learn the fundamentals of platform heels and basic movements around the pole. No prior heels experience needed. Proper platform dance heels required.
Heels Technique & Tricks Lvl 2
PREREQUISITES: Pole 3 and Heels Tech 1 are required before attending. As well as the ability to hold yourself up in a bracket/split grip.
Advanced Pole Lab
Must be comfortable with aerial inversions, brass monkey, ayesha shapes and other advanced aerial shapes - ask Pole 5 instructor if unsure before attending.
Vertical Flow
This class focuses on linking moves up and down the pole into longer sequences. We will explore shape variations, entry and exit transitions, and making aerial movement buttery smooth. Pole 3 and up recommended. Must be comfortable climbing with some basic exposure to spin pole. Inverts not required. This class is taught by Fei once a month.
